According to the plan, Trisat will be sent into orbit in August on the European Space Agency's (ESA) lightweight non-reusable launch vehicle Vega from the Kourou cosmodrome in French Guiana. It will perform multispectral and shortwave infrared imaging of the Earth. Another 50 satellites will be launched into orbit along with Trisat, including the Slovenian microsatellite Nemo HD.

Fragnito: our SSMS (Vega rideshare) mission now scheduled for Sept. 5. Original plans from two years ago planned for March 2019 launch; slipped from manifest adjustments and satellite delays. No room for additional satellites on this mission.

July 4 launch readiness review had a positive conclusion. Due to unfavorable high-altitude wind conditions above the #Spaceport tomorrow, @Arianespace has decided to postpone Flight #VV15 until July 7. The #Vega launcher and FalconEye1 spacecraft are in stable & safe conditions.

As high-altitude winds above the #Spaceport remain unfavorable, we will not launch Flight #VV15 today. A new target date will be announced as soon as possible based on the evolution of weather conditions. #Vega and #FalconEye1 remain in a stabilized and safe configuration.

Fascinating visit with the #FalconEye Franco-Emirati delegation of the #Soyuz launch pad at the Guyana Space Center in #Kourou. Space : a great example of cooperation between #Europe & #Russia, on French soil !
