Попытка №... , очередная

It's a chilly morning on Florida's Space Coast as SpaceX preps for another try to launch a Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral with the U.S. Air Force's GPS 3 SV01 navigation satellite.

The opening of the launch window is now two-and-a-half hours away at 8:51 a.m. EST (1351 GMT). The window extends for 26 minutes.

The official Air Force weather forecast predicts a less than 5 percent chance conditions will prevent a launch today. Conditions at launch time should be mostly sunny, with a few cirrostratus clouds at 25,000 feet, winds from the north at 10 to 15 mph, and a temperature of around 52 degrees Fahrenheit.

The forecast does not factor in upper level winds, which forced SpaceX to scrub yesterday's launch attempt. Winds aloft are expected to be somewhat lighter today, with maximum winds of around 85 knots from the west at 40,000 feet. Weather balloons collect upper level wind data throughout the countdown, and SpaceX uses that information to determine whether the Falcon 9 can safely navigate wind shears at high altitude.
