Falcon Heavy vertical at 39A today in prep. for Wednesday's static test fire attempt between 1300 and 1900. Seen from the @ExploreSpaceKSC bus tour. As big as the Heavy is, the tower still blocks the view of the rocket from the Saturn V center.

SpaceX's first Falcon Heavy rocket has been raised vertical at pad 39A for the second time in advance of a planned hold-down test-firing of its main engines tomorrow during a window that extends from 1-7 pm EST (1800-0000 GMT). Kennedy Space Center employees were told to expect an estimated 15-second firing.

The company plans to launch the heavy-lift rocket on a demonstration flight later this month.

The static fire is a key milestone in the launch campaign, and it will be the first time the fully-assembled Falcon Heavy -- with three first stage booster cores and 27 Merlin engines -- will be test-fired.

Each of the three first stage boosters, modified from SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket design, has been test-fired individually. The two side boosters were recovered and refurbished following Falcon 9 launches in 2016.

батарея может бабахнуть. надо и шины спустить, и бачок с тосол открыть, и фреон. снять все подушки и остал;ную пиротехнику если есть. а то будем потом новый, искусственный метеорный дождь наблюдать.
