HTV-8 go to proceed to the capture point (10 meters). The SSRMS will then reach out and grapple HTV-8.  Currently orbital nighttime, but the Robotic Work Station (RWS) monitor (an actual live camera on the ISS pointing at the screen) shows the outline/position.

HTV-8 has arrived at the capture point, 10 meters from the ISS.

SSRMS will now reach out and grapple the vehicle.

HTV-8: The cargo ship has halted its approach to the station at a distance of 9.2 meters and is now standing by for capture by the lab's robot arm; astronauts Christina Koch and Drew Morgan are overseeing approach and capture operations this morning

tnt22, спасибо за ответ выше по поводу того мужика, буду знать. И всё-таки, хотелось бы узнать на счес растыкрасст HTV-8. Ну и надеюсь, что HTV-8 успешно причалить к МКС.

HTV-8: Capture confirmed, at 7:12am EDT; after a firm lock is verified, flight controllers in Houston will take over robot arm operations, pulling the HTV cargo ship in for berthing at the Earth-facing port of the forward Harmony module
