On-Board Training (OBT) Soyuz Descent Training:
In preparation for 57S departure scheduled for June 24, Oleg and David performed today's OBT using a Soyuz simulator. During the drill, they practiced a nominal descent and the transition to Manual Entry Control [РУС]. Responses to emergencies caused by nominal decent hazards were also reviewed.

Astronauts Anne McClain and David Saint-Jacques ... are also packing cargo and personal items for return to Earth inside the Soyuz MS-11 crew craft. Commander Oleg Kononenko will lead the duo home inside the Russian spaceship for a June 24 landing in Kazakhstan. The threesome blasted off Dec. 3 and docked to the station's Poisk module about six hours later inside the same Soyuz vehicle.

NASA TV will cover all the homecoming activities live beginning Sunday at 3:35 pm. EDT with the Change of Command Ceremony. Monday's crew farewell and hatch closing will be at 4:10 p.m. with Soyuz undocking at 7:25 p.m. The Soyuz vehicle will fire its engines one last time at 9:55 p.m., followed by a parachute-assisted a landing in Kazakhstan on Monday at 10:48 p.m. EDT (Tuesday 8:48 a.m. Kazakh time). ...

The trio spent the afternoon practicing their Soyuz undocking, atmosphere reentry and landing procedures. They will ride back to Earth on Monday with Commander Oleg Kononenko inside the Soyuz MS-11 spacecraft. NASA Television to Cover Departure, Landing of Astronaut Anne McClain and Space Station Crew

NASA astronaut Anne McClain and two crewmates on the International Space Station are scheduled to conclude their stay aboard the orbiting laboratory Monday, June 24. Live coverage of their return will begin at 3:30 p.m. EDT on NASA Television and the agency's website.

McClain, a flight engineer for Expedition 59, expedition and Soyuz Commander Oleg Kononenko of the Russian space agency Roscosmos, and Flight Engineer David Saint-Jacques of the Canadian Space Agency, will close the hatch to their Soyuz MS-11 spacecraft Monday afternoon and undock from the station. A little more than three hours later, a parachute-assisted landing is planned southeast of the remote town of Dzhezkazgan on the Kazakhstan steppe.

The crew is completing a 204-day mission spanning 3,264 orbits of the Earth and a journey of 86.4 million miles. When they land, Kononenko will have logged 737 days in space on his four flights, putting him in sixth place on the all-time list of space travelers for cumulative time. McClain and Saint-Jacques will be completing their first flights into space. Saint-Jacques' mission will be the longest single spaceflight by a Canadian astronaut.

After landing, the crew will return by helicopter to the recovery staging area in Karaganda, Kazakhstan, wh ere McClain and Saint-Jacques will board a NASA plane for their return to Houston, and Kononenko will return to his home in Star City, Russia.

На Международной космической станции (МКС) завершается работа 59-й длительной экспедиции. Члены международного экипажа транспортного пилотируемого корабля (ТПК) «Союз МС-11» космонавт Олег Кононенко (Роскосмос), астронавты Давид Сен-Жак (CSA) и Энн Макклейн (NASA) готовятся к возвращению на Землю.
В настоящее время в соответствии с планом полёта осуществляется укладка возвращаемых грузов в спускаемый аппарат ТПК «Союз МС-11», проводятся бортовые тренировки экипажа и проверки основных систем корабля.
По предварительным данным службы баллистико-навигационного обеспечения Центра управления полётами (ЦУП) расстыковка корабля «Союз МС-11» с МКС планируется 25 июня 2019 года в 02 час. 25 мин. 30 сек. по московскому времени.
Продолжительность пребывания в космическом полёте экипажа экспедиции МКС-58/59 составит 204 сут. (выведение на заданную орбиту транспортного пилотируемого корабля состоялось 3 декабря 2018 года).
После расстыковки ТПК «Союз МС-11» с Международной космической станцией и до прибытия на борт МКС участников следующей экспедиции работу на орбите продолжит экипаж в составе космонавта Роскосмоса Алексея Овчинина, астронавтов NASA Ника Хейга и Кристины Кук.
Приземление спускаемого аппарата космического корабля «Союз МС-11» ожидается в 05 час. 49 мин. по московскому времени в 148 км юго-восточнее города Жезказган в Казахстане.
