КОРОЛЕВ /Московская область/, 4 октября. /ТАСС/. Трое космонавтов, вернувшихся с Международной космической станции (МКС), эвакуированы из спускаемого аппарата пилотируемого корабля "Союз МС-08", приземлившегося в 14:45 мск в казахстанской степи. Об этом сообщили в четверг журналистам в подмосковном Центре управления полетами (ЦУП).

"Все три члена экипажа корабля "Союз МС-08" успешно эвакуированы", - сообщили в ЦУП.

Ранее представитель ЦУП отметил, что самочувствие экипажа хорошее.

На "Союзе МС-08" на Землю вернулись участники длительной экспедиции МКС-55/56 - космонавт Роскосмоса Олег Артемьев, астронавты NASA Ричард Арнольд и Эндрю Фойстел.

Члены экипажа транспортного пилотируемого корабля (ТПК) «Союз МС-08», отстыковавшегося сегодня в 10 ч 57 мин от Международной космической станции (МКС), благополучно вернулись на Землю.

Спускаемый аппарат с участниками 55-й и 56-й длительных экспедиций на МКС космонавтом Роскосмоса Олегом Артемьевым и астронавтами НАСА Эндрю Фойстелом и Ричардом Арнольдом совершил посадку в казахстанской степи в районе г. Жезказган 4 октября 2018 года в 14:45 мск.

Все операции по спуску с орбиты и приземлению прошли штатно. Самочувствие вернувшихся на Землю членов экипажа хорошее.

ТПК «Союз МС-08» находился в составе МКС с 23 марта 2018 года.

За время пребывания на Международной космической станции экипаж выполнил программу научно-прикладных исследований и экспериментов длительных экспедиций МКС-55 и МКС-56, поддерживал работоспособность МКС и проводил работы по её дооснащению оборудованием, доставленным грузовыми кораблями.

Олегом Артемьевым был выполнен один выход в открытое космическое пространство по программе полёта Российского сегмента МКС длительностью 7 ч 46 мин.

Продолжительность пребывания экипажа экспедиций МКС-55 и МКС-56 в космическом полёте составила 196 суток 18 часов.

Three crew members who have been living and working aboard the International Space Station have landed safely in Kazakhstan.

Expedition 56 Commander Drew Feustel and Flight Engineer Ricky Arnold of NASA, along with Flight Engineer and Soyuz Commander Oleg Artemyev of the Russian space agency Roscosmos landed at 7:44 a.m. EDT (5:44 p.m. in Kazakhstan) southeast of the remote town of Dzhezkazgan in Kazakhstan.

The crew completed hundreds of experiments during its 197-day expedition. Highlights included an investigation to study ultra-cold quantum gases using the first commercial European facility for microgravity research, and a system that uses surface forces to accomplish liquid-liquid separation.

The crew also welcomed five cargo spacecraft that delivered several tons of supplies and research experiments. The 14th SpaceX Dragon arrived in April, shortly after the three crew members did, bringing supplies and equipment, and the 15th Dragon arrived in July. The ninth Northrop Grumman Cygnus resupply spacecraft arrived in May before the end of Expedition 55. A Russian Progress completed a record rapid rendezvous of less than four hours in August. And, the seventh Japanese Konotouri cargo craft arrived just a week before the Expedition 56 trio departed for home.

Both Feustel and Arnold participated in dozens of educational events while in space as part of NASA's Year of Education on Station, reaching more than 200,000 students in 29 states. Feustel now has logged more than 226 days in space on three spaceflights, and Arnold more than 209 days on two missions.

The duo ventured outside the space station on three spacewalks to effect maintenance and upgrades during Expeditions 55 and 56. Their work included replacing and upgrading external cameras, including those that will facilitate the approach and docking of the Boeing Starliner and SpaceX Crew Dragon commercial crew spacecraft when they begin launching soon from American soil. The spacewalkers also replaced components of the space station's cooling system and communications network, and installed new wireless communication antennas for external experiments. Feustel has accumulated 61 hours and 48 minutes over nine career spacewalks, and ranks third overall among American astronauts. Arnold has 32 hours and 4 minutes over five career spacewalks.

Artemyev conducted one spacewalk with fellow cosmonaut Sergey Prokopyev to manually launch four small technology satellites and install an experiment called Icarus onto the Russian segment of the space station. The spacewalk timed out at 7 hours and 46 minutes, the longest in Russian space program history. Artemyev now has spent 366 days in space on his two flights.

Expedition 57 continues station research and operations with a crew comprised of Serena Auñón-Chancellor of NASA, Alexander Gerst of ESA (European Space Agency) and Sergey Prokopyev of Roscosmos. Gerst assumed command of the station as Feustel prepared to depart.

NASA astronaut Nick Hague and Roscosmos cosmonaut Alexey Ovchinin are scheduled to launch Oct. 11 for a same-day arrival, increasing the crew size to five.

Three members of the Expedition 56 crew returned safely to Earth Thursday fr om the International Space Station, wh ere they spent months providing hands-on support for scientific research in low-Earth orbit, working to keep the orbiting laboratory fully operational, and performing three spacewalks.

NASA astronauts Drew Feustel and Ricky Arnold, and cosmonaut Oleg Artemyev of the Russian space agency Roscosmos landed at 7:44 a.m. EDT (5:44 p.m. in Kazakhstan) southeast of the remote town of Dzhezkazgan in Kazakhstan.

4 октября 2018 года в 14:45 по московскому времени в заданном районе юго-восточнее города Жезказган (Казахстан) совершил штатную посадку спускаемый аппарат транспортного пилотируемого корабля «Союз МС-08», на борту которого после выполнения 197-суточного полёта вернулись космонавт Роскосмоса Олег Артемьев, астронавты НАСА Эндрю Фойстел и Ричард Арнольд.

Все операции по спуску с орбиты и приземлению прошли штатно. Самочувствие вернувшихся на Землю членов экипажа хорошее.

На станции до прибытия следующего российского пилотируемого корабля «Союз» продолжат работу участники 56/57-й длительной экспедиции на МКС российский космонавт Сергей Прокопьев, астронавт ЕКА Александр Герст и астронавт НАСА Серина Ауньен-Чэнселлор.

О транслции закрытия люков.
Сегодня, примерно в 8:02 мск, по телеканалу "Россия 1"  в выпуске Новостей было прямое включение на несколько секунд. Обратил внимание, что и кадры отличаются от трансляции НАСА, и люк, вроде бы другой, и закрывающий космонавт находится в меньшем объёме, т.е. внутри "Союза".
Сейчас добрался до компа, и не нашёл таких кадров, и не сумел вытащить тот выпуск Новостей.
Кто-нибудь сможет подтвердить, что у мен был не глюк от утреннего цейтнота?

За "Россия 1" ничего не скажу - не до ТВ было (да и вообще практически не смотрю). НАСА после заставок и фото экипажа (-ей) прямую трансляцию со станции по факту начала кадром с Рики Арнольдом в СА Союза непосредственно у люка между СА и БО, а затем переключилась на камеру с видом со станции на люки между МКС и КК, там появлялись и Прокопьев, и Оньён, и Герст мелькал... А Олег, Рики и Дрю всё как-то больше в корабле мелькали практически до церемонии прощания. Да и прощание какое-то скомканное что ли вышло...

Точно. Именно это "помещение". Но раз показывали по ТВ видео с той камеры одновременно с трансляцией из МКС, - должна быть и та запись.

Трансляция НАСА началась ровно 07:30. Кадры с Рики в СА  были навскидку минуты через 4 - 5 от начала трансляции, никак не через полчаса. Ссыль на запись (не официоз, примерно первые 38 мин):

Сегодня ночью на аэродроме Чкаловский (Московская область) приземлился спецборт с российским космонавтом 55/56-й длительной экспедиции на МКС Олегом Артемьевым. В этот же день его коллеги, астронавты НАСА Андрю Фойстел и Ричард Арнольд, отправились для прохождения послеполётной реабилитации в г. Хьюстон.

Космонавта из его второго полета встречали родные и близкие, представители руководства Госкорпорации Роскосмос и Центра подготовки космонавтов.

A Russian Soyuz ferry ship carrying a Russian cosmonaut and two NASA astronauts undocked from the International Space Station early Thursday, flew a lap around the 20-year-old outpost for a photo survey and then plunged back to Earth, making a pinpoint landing on the steppe of Kazakhstan to wrap up a 197-day stay in space.

Descending under a billowing orange-and-white parachute, the Soyuz MS-08/54S descent module settled to a jarring rocket-assisted touchdown southeast of Dzhezkazgan, Kazakhstan, at 7:45 a.m. EDT (GMT-4).

Russian recovery crews stationed nearby rushed to the charred spacecraft to help commander Oleg Artemyev, flight engineer Drew Feustel and Ricky Arnold exit the cramped module as they began their re-adaptation to gravity after six-and-a-half months in orbit.

All three appeared fit and in good spirits as they were carried to nearby recliners for an initial round of medical checks and satellite phone calls home to friends and family. Artemyev was presented with fresh fruit, including a large cantaloupe, a squash and a carrot.

They began their return to Earth four hours earlier, at 3:57 a.m., when the Soyuz undocked from the space station's upper Poisk module as the two spacecraft sailed some 250 miles above Madagascar.

In a departure from normal practice, Artemyev manually piloted the spacecraft through a partial loop around the station, allowing Feustel to carry out a photo survey of the outpost as it nears the 20th anniversary of the first module's launch in November 1998. The lab has been continuously staffed by rotating cosmonaut-astronaut crews since October 2000.

"This is great!" someone said on the space-to-ground audio loop as Feustel snapped photos from the Soyuz's upper orbital module. A few minutes later, someone speaking Russian complimented Feustel, saying "Drew, good job."

With the photos in hand, the Soyuz crew departed the area to rig the ship for re-entry.
And right on time, at 6:51 a.m., Artemyev monitored a four-minute 39-second firing of the Soyuz's braking rockets, slowing the ship by about 186 miles per hour and dropping the far side of its orbit into the atmosphere.

A half hour later, at an altitude of about 97 miles, the three modules making up the Soyuz MS-08/54S spacecraft separated as planned and the central crew descent module, the only one with a protective heat shield, slammed into the discernible atmosphere at nearly five miles per second.

After enduring about 15 minutes of extreme heating and rapid deceleration, subjecting the crew to about four times the normal pull of gravity, the descent module's main parachute deployed at an altitude of about six miles.

"We're feeling just fine," Artemyev reported. "In the mood to celebrate."

A few minutes later, the capsule dropped to an on-target touchdown, kicking up a cloud of dust as its landing rockets fired an instant before the crew cabin hit the ground. Mission duration was 196 days and 18 hours since launch from the Baikonur Cosmodrome on March 21.

Artemyev's total time in space over two station visits now stands at 366 days. Feustel, veteran of three flights, including a mission to repair the Hubble Space Telescope, has now logged 226 days aloft. Arnold's total over two station flights stands at 210 days.

During their stay aboard the station, the trio welcomed three crewmates to the outpost — German astronaut Alexander Gerst, Soyuz MS-09/55S commander Sergey Prokopyev and NASA astronaut Serena Auñón-Chancellor — two SpaceX Dragon cargo ships, a Russian Progress freighter, a Northrup Grumman Cygnus supply ship and a Japanese HTV cargo craft carrying replacement batteries for the station's solar power system.

They also staged four spacewalks. Feustel and Arnold carried out three excursions in March, May and June to perform routine maintenance while Artemyev joined Prokopyev in August for work on the Russian segment of the station.

Feustel has now walked in space nine times totaling 61 hours and 48 minutes, moving him up to third on the list of world's most experienced spacewalkers.

The Expedition 56 crew also dealt with a small leak in the Soyuz MS-09/55S spacecraft that carried Prokopyev, Gerst and Auñón-Chancellor to the station in June. The leak was discovered in the upper module of that ferry ship, prompting a quick repair job by Artemyev and Prokopyev who sealed it with epoxy-soaked cloth.

After initial medical checks at the landing site, Artemyev, Feustel and Arnold planned to fly by helicopter to nearby Karaganda for a traditional Kazakh welcome home ceremony.

From there, the crew will split up. Artemyev will board a Russian jet for a flight back to the Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center in Star City near Moscow while Feustel and Arnold board a NASA plane for the long trip back to the Johnson Space Center in Houston.

Left behind aboard the space station were Prokopyev, Auñón-Chancellor and Gerst, who took over command of the station with Feustel's departure. They will have the station to themselves until Oct. 11 when two fresh crew members — Alexey Ovchinin and Tyler "Nick" Hague arrive aboard the Soyuz MS-10/56S spacecraft.

Soyuz spacecraft normally carry crews of three, but in this case a cosmonaut specially trained to work with a new Russian laboratory module was pulled from the MS-10 flight because the lab's launch has been delayed.
